We're seeking nominations for an officer position with the Louisiana Chapter of ACRL. The deadline to nominate yourself or someone else is Wednesday, July 10.
The Secretary position is open to any professional academic librarian in Louisiana who is a member of ACRL or ACRL-LA (or is willing to join). The Secretary:
- Serves a two-year term, beginning September 2024.
- Takes minutes at Executive Board meetings (held virtually) and serves as a voting member of the Executive Board.
- Compiles the official membership and serves as Chair of the Membership Committee.
ACRL-LA hosts professional development opportunities for Louisiana's academic librarians, including providing free access to paid webinars, inviting guest speakers to the chapter's annual meeting, and hosting the Summer Research Forum.
